In Westboro village, on an evening in late October, the Salus community celebrated. In part, we celebrated the success of Salus' Building a Brighter Future fundraising campaign through which 275K has currently been raised. We celebrated the projects that were made possible with these funds: The re-building of Millennium House (which tragically burned down in the Spring of 2005); the opening of a new head office custom-built for Salus needs; and most important, we celebrated the forty brand new apartments situated on the upper floors of the head office building apartments that will give forty individuals a fresh start on their lives.
